Digital Label Press Operator
Job description
We are currently looking for an evening operator from 3pm-11pm Monday - Friday with overtime available for weekends.
We are seeking a full time Digital Label Printer Operator to be a dedicated team player. Strong communication skills, technical aptitude, sound problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and care about producing quality work.
Major Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient Prepress and Digital Operations
- Plan job layouts, prepare files, alter client provided artwork if needed
- Make sure that jobs leave the prepress department with the appropriate proofing materials (proof mockups, proper documentation, etc.)
- Interpret docket information, instructions, layouts, etc.
- Adhere to production schedules
- Strong attention to detail
- Organize, plan and prioritize work
- Keep all equipment in good working order and coordinate with service team for support
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Prepress operations
- Experience with digital printers and/or roll label equipment
- Experience with bindery equipment
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Experience with imposition software, plus quality control practices and procedures
- knowledge of printing process, color spaces, working styles, hard & soft proofing
- Experience with cutting, binding & finishing in a fast paced printing environment
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Able to work 3pm - 11pm shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
