Position Summary:
The Parts Technician is responsible for accurately and efficiently sourcing and selling parts to customers either over the phone, in person or online.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Quote and sell heavy truck, bus and trailer parts (all makes included) to our valued customers
- Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers while making a sale, quoting, taking orders and/or checking availability
- Follow up on sales quotes to complete the sale or drive futures sales opportunities
- Address customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Meet or exceed monthly parts sales expectations
- Provide quotes on parts to be used by the shop and sales department
- Assist other areas of the parts department as needed or assigned
- Perform inventory count annually or as required.
- Participate in any technical training or development training that is made available
- Performs the role in a professional manner that aligns with the Company’s’ values and ideals
- Obtain forklift certification
- Follow all work safety rules & regulations
Qualifications:
- Product knowledge and previous selling experience of either all makes, auto or heavy truck parts
- Excellent customer service skills
- Sales driven
- Organized & self-motivated
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends or 7 days on - 7 days off.
- Able to work well with others and independently
