Reporting to the Campus Principal, the incumbent works collaboratively with the academic areas and departments delivering programs and services across our multiple campuses to ensure operational excellence.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a dedicated administrative professional who will play a critical role in overseeing the campuses’ day to day operations, specific programs and liaise with specific community partners. This position will have oversight for programs on both the Owen Sound and South Georgian Bay campuses. Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling direct reporting staff for shifts and special events, monitoring work, orientation to campus operations for new staff in departments

Recruiting, training and supervising staff, including performance management and scheduling professional development
-
Monitor budgets, identifies variances and makes recommendations to support the operational needs of the location
-
Completing reporting for departments at the College and maintaining maintenance schedules (i.e. health & safety, facilities operations, lab maintenance)
-
Providing first point of contact for staff onsite regarding campus procedures and logistics inquiries, problem-solving with staff as needed for situations that arise
-
Identifying, preparing and communicating successes at the campus to the broader College on a regular basi
-
First-point of contact for rental of space requests, offsite location leases, etc.
-
Acts as the first point of contact in case of emergency after hours (evenings & weekends)
-
Creating timelines and setting targets for projects ensuring compliance with the agreements
-
Overseeing the promotion for the project (program) in the community, setting targets for outreach coordination to support program needs
-
Administrating and tracking project budget expenditures.

Providing narrative and statistical reports ensuring compliance with reporting requirements in accordance with the funder
-
Monitoring progress of the program and services delivered against funder targets, milestones and objectives.

Evaluating project success and recommending changes as necessary to ensure targets are achieved.

Sit on working groups, committees and networks representing the College internally and externally (i.e. Special projects, Open House, Planning Committees for special community events)

Maintaining relationships with internal departments, community partners, and stakeholders that support the student-experience

Provide coordination and oversee implementation of new initiatives at the College sites (i.e. Campuses)

Representing the college and the program at various events and on planning groups (i.e. community planning groups that serve the targeted population including events, job fairs, etc.)

Administrator back up for other Campuses, as needed

Participate in decision-making for unscheduled campus closures
Qualifications:
-
Successfully completed a three-year diploma / degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field.

Minimum three years of experience of management/leadership experience, preferably within a public sector environment with stringent budget and financial accountabilities
-
Knowledge of Banner and other Financial Systems would be considered an asset.

Ability to develop and maintain internal/external relationships
-
Experience developing and managing new projects/initiatives
-
Demonstrated leadership experience of a diverse group of partners.
-
Experience in budget management and report writing
-
Experience with developing business proposals
-
Development of operational initiatives in response to strategic plans
-
Experience supervising a work group with remote work arrangements and multiple sites is considered an asset
-
Experience working with community groups and agencies with a focus on partnership development and relationship building that supports strategic goals
-
Health and Safety designation would be an asset
-
Event management experience
-
Strong interpersonal skills to manage support staff and work with staff from different departments.

Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
