Scholars of Georgetown is seeking for a passionate and enthusiastic part-time Math and Science Teacher to join our team. As a teacher at Scholars, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students, both personally and academically. Scholars has provided 25 years of tutoring services all across the country and North America. The successful candidate will be trained on Scholars’ teaching methodology. Here’s what we’re looking for:
● Ontario Certified Teacher is preferred
● Candidates in Teacher College or university designation towards Math/Science are encouraged to apply.
● Previous experience working with students is an asset.
● Excellent English oral and written skills.
● A passion to help students reach their potential.
● Exceptionally organized and high attention to detail.
● Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students.
● Must be able to teach Math/Functions/Calculus up to Grade 12 and Physics and Chemistry up to Grade 12
● Monday - Thursday 3:00pm - 8:00 pm & Saturday 9:00am - 2:00 pm
Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week within our hours of operation above. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays are highly preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
