We are seeking a reliable and experienced BC/AB Overnight PIN to PIN Highway Driver to join our transportation team.
**Must be able to drive Manual Transmission**
**Must have 2 years Mountain verifiable Mountain Experience**
Will be paid by the mile
Routes will involve traveling occasionally on Hwy 16, Hwy 3
This role involves safely transporting freight across provincial borders during overnight hours, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial driving skills, experience with heavy equipment operation, and a solid understanding of freight handling and automotive repair. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for overnight PIN to PIN freight deliveries between British Columbia and Alberta.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and vehicle maintenance standards.
- Navigate efficiently across highways, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols during overnight routes.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or any issues encountered.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if mechanical issues arise during transit to minimize delays.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for freight handling at terminals or loading docks.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with overnight routes across provincial borders.
- Familiarity with forklift operation, freight handling, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Prior experience with PIN-to-PIN highway transportation between BC and AB is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.

Pay: $6,500.00-$8,500.00 per month
