Storage Locker & Metal Cladding Installer (Skilled Labourer)
Overview
We are looking for a dependable Skilled Labourer to join our team installing self-storage locker systems and metal cladding. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with construction or installation experience who values precision, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Install self-storage locker systems (partitions, doors, framing, and hardware)
- Install metal cladding panels (measure, cut, align, and fasten)
- Read layouts, take accurate measurements, and ensure proper leveling and alignment
- Operate hand and power tools safely (drills, impacts, saws, levels, laser levels)
- Load, unload, and organize materials on job sites
- Assist with layout, marking, and preparation for installation phases
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Track daily progress and communicate updates to the supervisor
Requirements
- Experience in construction, installation, or similar trade (cladding or partitions an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with precise measurements
- Ability to perform physical work and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders or lifts, when required)
- Familiar with hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Valid driver’s license is an asset
