We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operations, including the safe operation of trackhoe, backhoe, grader, dozer and loader equipment, the ability to read and interpret maps and diagrams, and the knowledge of safety protocols. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating the heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
o Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
o Be familiar with heavy equipment operations and maintenance
o Follow safety protocols and regulations when operating heavy equipment
o Inspect heavy equipment for any mechanical issues prior to operation
o Maintain a clean and organized work area
o Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
o Load and unload heavy equipment with appropriate materials
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Provost, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Reclamation: 2 years (preferred)
- Heavy equipment operation: 5 years (preferred)
