About the Role
The Business Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in advancing Campus Services’ strategic priorities through data-informed decision-making, business process improvement, digital transformation, and organizational effectiveness. Reporting to the Executive Director, Campus Services, this position works collaboratively with leaders, staff, and university partners to identify opportunities for innovation, streamline processes, improve service delivery, and support evidence-based planning across a diverse and evolving portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, operations, technology, and customer experience in one of SFU’s most dynamic service environments. The successful candidate will lead business analysis, requirements gathering, process redesign, reporting and analytics initiatives, and system implementation projects that contribute directly to institutional goals and operational excellence. Upcoming initiatives include service modernization projects, business intelligence and reporting enhancements, digital workflow optimization, enterprise system integrations, strategic planning support, and the continued evolution of SFU’s credential ecosystem and customer service technologies. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful, visible impact on the future of campus services and the university community.
