Qualifications – Ontario Healthcare Facility
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Minimum 2 years of Long-Term Care (LTC) nursing experience required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Charge Nurse experience highly preferred
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed within the last 6 months required
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 3 months with possibility of extension

- Hours: Full-time hours
Responsibilities:
Registered Nurses are required to adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality resident care
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring resident responses
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
- Provide leadership and clinical guidance to nursing staff when acting in a charge capacity
- Respond effectively to changes in resident condition and emergency situations
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance standards
Note: Duties may vary slightly based on facility and shift, with specific guidance provided during site orientation.
Experience:
- 2 years of relevant Canadian Long-Term Care nursing experience (required)
- Previous Charge Nurse experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment
