Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Seasonal bonuses are offered to permanent staff.
- Assist in merchandising efforts to maintain an appealing store environment.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Upsell additional products and services based on customer interests and needs.
- Maintain organized displays and inventory levels, ensuring products are well-stocked and accessible.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with jewelry and art sales is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to upselling products and enhancing the customer experience.
