Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Restoration Water Technician to join our team. This role involves responding to water damage emergencies, performing restoration services, and ensuring property is returned to its pre-loss condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new skills in the restoration industry. Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to water damage calls and assess affected areas
- Remove standing water using pumps, wet vacuums, and other equipment
- Perform drying and dehumidification processes to prevent mold growth
- Use hand tools and power tools for demolition and repair tasks
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing affected areas following water extraction
- Document work performed and communicate with team members and clients effectively
- Maintain equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Support additional restoration activities such as minor construction or repairs as needed
Skills
- Experience with cleaning, restoration, or construction is advantageous
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with the use of basic hand tools and power equipment preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn new techniques related to water damage restoration
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions and respond quickly during emergencies
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
