We’re looking for a strategic and dynamic IMT Project Manager to lead technology-driven transformation at MGH. Reporting to the IMT Project Director, you will oversee IT projects that enhance hospital operations, improvepatient care, and streamline system integrations. Working closely with hospital stakeholders, IMT team, and vendors, you’ll ensure the seamless implementation of cutting-edge healthcare technology solutions.
Key responsibilities of the position include but not limited to:
- Lead & manage clinical technology projects, from planning to implementation, ensuring alignment with MGH’s strategic goals.
- Drive technology adoption, introducing new systems and enhancing existing ones.
- Oversee integrationof critical hospital IT systems, ensuring smooth transitions and interoperability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hospital departments, vendors, and stakeholders to define technical and functional requirements.
- Develop operational policies & procedures to support IT system sustainability.
- Assess and optimize hospital-wide technology services for improved efficiency.
EDUCATION
- Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business or Hospital Administration
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred
- Clinical experience is an asset.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of IT project management experience, ideally in healthcare.
- Proven track record in managing complex IT and clinical technology projects, including planning, designing, and implementing systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with HR, Finance, and Clinical Applications teams.
- Expertise in change management and user adoption strategies.
- Knowledge of hospital operations and the ability to align IT initiatives with organizational needs.
- Experience working with vendors, contracts, and service agreements.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Good work and attendance record required.
