Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining all office administrative duties, and bookkeeping records, supporting daily administrative operations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong office skills, proficiency with accounting software, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with accounting offices is a plus, but not required. Duties
- Handle front desk responsibilities including greeting visitors, managing multi-line phone systems, and scheduling appointments
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, document proofreading, and organizing office supplies
- Assist with customer support via phone and email, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and professional communication
- Maintain organized records of client information, billing statements, and correspondence
- Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting tools
- Perform data entry for invoices, payments, run payroll, and expense reports with high accuracy
- Support office operations as needed, including client check-in and appointment scheduling
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Other duties as required
Skills
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and familiarity with bookkeeping processes is an asset
- Strong office experience with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management, CRA online portal
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience working in a front desk or reception role with multi-line phone systems
- Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
- Attention to detail for proofreading documents and maintaining accurate records
- Customer service experience with professional phone etiquette and support skills
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a busy environment and support the office team
- Previous accounting office experience is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
