Overview
We are seeking energetic and experienced Live BBQ Grillers to join our team for various events. This role involves preparing and grilling delicious barbecue dishes in a lively, outdoor setting. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service, excellent cooking skills, and the ability to engage with guests while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with restaurant or kitchen experience looking to showcase their grilling talents at special events.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of barbecue dishes on-site at event locations, ensuring all food is cooked to proper temperatures and quality standards
- Serve freshly grilled food to guests in an efficient and friendly manner
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as marinating, chopping, and assembling ingredients as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station throughout the event
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling and safety protocols
- Ensure all food service equipment is operated safely and correctly during each shift
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and promote a positive event experience
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred, especially with grilling or barbecue preparation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong skills in cooking, meal preparation, and food presentation
- Ability to work efficiently in outdoor settings, often standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required by event schedules
- Passion for serving high-quality food and creating memorable experiences for guests
