Position: Industrial Electrician
Department: Maintenance
Location: Mississauga and surrounding area
Shift: Nights and Continental Night Shift
Pay: $40.00 - $49.00 per hour + Shift Premium
Requirements:
- Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Electrician #442A or Construction Maintenance Electrician #309A.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Licensed Electrician
- Electrical work experience in automotive industry or food industry required.
- Ability to work independently on troubleshooting machinery and equipment and performing electrical repairs.
- Perform Electrical PM’s on all machinery and equipment
- Knowledgeable on the construction and practical application of the various machines and equipment.
- Run conduits of all sizes, install panel boards and disconnects, wire said devices for feeder and branch circuits.
- Ability to problem solve and repair drive systems on screw and belt type conveyor systems.
- Understand and problem solve various types of drive motors.
- Good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and their operation as well as maintenance and repair.
- Ability to perform electrical maintenance of the general plant and building systems and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of computer software and hardware.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electronics
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook, and TEAMS
- Strong ability to effectively analyze situations and problem solve.
