Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient cleaning, sorting, and organization of linens and laundry items. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel environment. Prior hotel experience, laundry skills, and a keen eye for detail are highly valued for this position.
Duties
- Operate industrial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Sort laundry items according to type and cleaning requirements
- Ensure all linens are cleaned to hotel standards and properly stored or distributed
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including equipment and workspaces
- Assist with inventory management of linens and supplies
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens for guest rooms
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel laundry or similar cleaning roles is preferred
- Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with general cleaning tasks is advantageous
