Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to an individual. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for seniors with disabilities through attentive, respectful, and personalized care. Duties
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to client
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Help with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Support patients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare family members
- Assist with specialized care for individual cognitive impairment
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain confidentiality in accordance
Requirements
- candidate must have a vehicle to transport client to outings
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates
- Knowledge of patient care techniques, medication administration, and working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility needs safely
- Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience
- Ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; some positions may require evening or weekend availability
- Valid background check clearance; willingness to undergo training related to caregiving standards and safety protocols
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
