Located 15 minutes West of beautiful Revelstoke, BC, 3 Valley Gap is hiring for the busy summer season ahead.
Kitchen Prep staff assist with food preparation, ingredient handling, cleaning, and kitchen organization. Duties include chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting cooks during service. Candidates should be dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Wash, peel, chop, slice, and portion ingredients
- Prepare basic foods such as sauces, salads, soups, or desserts
- Measure and organize ingredients for cooks and chefs
- Receive and store food deliveries properly
- Label and rotate food according to food safety standards
- Clean kitchen equipment, counters, and work areas
- Wash dishes and utensils as needed
- Take out garbage and maintain sanitation standards
- Assist cooks during busy service periods
- Follow health and safety regulations
On-site accommodation and meals included. Wages are negotiable. 35-40 hours a week is guaranteed.
