Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grounds Crew Person to maintain the pristine condition of our golf course. This role involves performing landscape maintenance and ensuring the grounds are safe, attractive, and well-kept for our members and guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and landscape care, along with experience in using various tools and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in outdoor work, gardening, and maintaining high standards of course appearance.
Duties
- Mowing, edging, and trimming grass using hand tools and power equipment to ensure a smooth playing surface
- Performing landscape maintenance tasks such as String Trimming, Power washing, Mowing, pruning, etc
- Operating irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and system repairs as needed
- Using hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment to maintain bunkers, fairways, greens, and surrounding areas
- Assisting with the installation and upkeep of landscape features including shrubs, trees, and decorative elements
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Experience with horticulture, gardening, or landscape maintenance preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and other landscaping equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of turf management practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality work
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Prior experience in golf course maintenance or similar outdoor environments is desirable but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be reliable with a strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
Pay: $20.50-$24.75 per hour
