Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fence Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of fences, ensuring safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This role requires a strong understanding of construction principles, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The Fence Installer will play a vital role in delivering high-quality fencing solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine fence layouts and specifications.
- Measure and mark installation sites accurately to ensure proper fence placement.
- Operate hand tools such as post drivers, hammers, levels, and measuring tapes effectively.
- Use power tools including drills, saws, and augers to cut, assemble, and install fencing materials.
- Set posts securely in concrete or other foundations, ensuring stability and alignment.
- Install various types of fencing materials such as wood, vinyl, chain link, or ornamental fences.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing when setting posts or installing footings.
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure weatherproofing and durability of installations.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on-site. (we help with garbage utilization).
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or fencing installation is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating enhances job performance.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, masonry, welding, carpentry, electrical experience, plumbing, restoration work, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, or construction painting is advantageous.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high-quality standards.
