We’re looking for a passionate and customer-focused Licensed Optician to join our growing Specsavers team at Burlington Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, fast-paced environment with a company that is transforming the optical industry and investing in its people.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer care and professional optical advice
- Dispense, fit and adjust eyewear to meet customers’ individual needs
- Assist with frame and lens selection based on lifestyle, vision and personal style
- Support contact lens fittings and customer education
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers
- Work closely with Optometrists and the retail team
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience from start to finish
- Support store sales and performance goals while keeping the customer first
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, professionalism and store presentation
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear that suits their style, needs, and prescription requirements
- Take precise measurements of patients’ eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of glasses and contact lenses
- Fabricate, adjust, and repair eyewear using laboratory equipment and techniques
- Manage retail sales transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including medical terminology documentation
- Collaborate with optometrists and other team members to deliver comprehensive eye care services
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Optician in accordance with state or regional requirements in good standing
- Proven experience in optical retail sales and laboratory work preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to eye health and vision correction
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
- Contact lens knowledge and experience is an asset
- Positive, energetic and professional attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy environment
- Reliable, organized and team-oriented

- Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
