We are looking for staff with Geomatics experience.
Underhill Geomatics is a land surveying and Geomatics firm with offices in Kamloops, Burnaby, Comox, and Whitehorse. Operating since 1913, Underhill continues to provide technologically advanced, flexible, and efficient geospatial solutions for all our clients’ needs within British Columbia, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing survey projects from initiation to completion. You will lead a team of surveyors and support staff, ensuring project deliverables are met within budget, scope, and timeline. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of surveying principles and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and communication
- Lead project planning and execution including scope, budget, schedule, safety, and risk; allocate resources and oversee team performance; ensure quality control and compliance; monitor financials and manage change orders
- Maintain documentation and reporting; drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in surveying/ geomatics/civil engineering
- 3+ years project management experience in Surveying or Geomatics industry
- Strong surveying knowledge
- Ability to access job sites
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Ability to work outdoors
Skills:
- Professional designation (BCLS, CLS, PEng) an asset but not required
- Excellent communication
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Integrity and professionalism
