Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Evening Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is responsible for ensuring all laundry and linen services are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel laundry operations and a keen eye for cleanliness and detail. Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and folding machines to process linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for distribution throughout the hotel
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized
- Assist with inventory management of linens and supplies
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for laundry chemicals and equipment
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to meet linen needs efficiently and promptly
- Ensure all laundry tasks are completed within designated shift hours, maintaining high standards of quality
Requirements
- Previous hotel or hospitality laundry experience preferred
- Knowledge of laundry procedures, cleaning techniques, and equipment operation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on cleanliness and orderliness
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this role
- Ability to work during evening hours as required for the shift schedule
Pay: From $16.75 per hour
