Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Export Coordinator / Supply Chain Assistance to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing export operations, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring seamless flow of goods across international borders. Your expertise in supply chain processes, transportation management, and warehouse distribution will drive efficiency and accuracy in our export activities. Responsibilities
Export Coordination & Documentation:
· Prepare, and review all required export documentation for Canada-to-US shipments, ensuring absolute accuracy (e.g., Commercial Invoices, Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, and CUSMA/USMCA Certificates of Origin).
· Liaise with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure shipments clear customs without delays.
· Ensure all cross-border shipments comply with relevant international trade laws and company policies.
Logistics & 3PL Scheduling:
· Coordinate and schedule logistics appointments for pickups and deliveries with various carriers and 3PL partners across Canada and the US.
· Track and trace active shipments, providing real-time updates to internal teams and resolving any transit or delivery issues proactively.
· Act as the primary point of contact for external 3PL warehouses regarding inbound and outbound shipping schedules.
Inventory & Supply Chain Support:
· Monitor and manage inventory levels across internal and 3PL locations, ensuring data accuracy within the inventory management system.
· Assist in reconciling physical inventory counts with system records and investigating any discrepancies.
· Collaborate with sales and production teams to align shipping schedules with inventory availability and customer demands.
Qualifications:
Able to independently handle export documentation.
At least one year of extensive experience in coordination and scheduling, shipping and receiving, or supply chain coordination.
Possesses data analysis skills, able to interpret logistics metrics and support continuous process improvement.
Has practical experience in freight management, third-party logistics coordination, and international shipping processes.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail regarding documentation and compliance requirements.
