Job Summary

Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair Commercial and HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation units using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and inspections to ensure peak performance
- Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems or associated components to prevent leaks or blockages
- Utilize welding skills for ductwork fabrication or repairs when necessary
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes quickly
- Assist with boiler system maintenance and repairs to ensure safe operation during cold weather months
- Repair appliances and mechanical equipment as needed to maintain operational efficiency across facilities
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and related mechanical components
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, welding, boiler systems, and appliance repair in commercial or industrial settings
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems
- Construction experience is a plus, especially in installing or modifying HVAC-related infrastructure
- Knowledge of mechanical systems maintenance best practices to optimize system longevity and performance
- Prior experience working with schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately
