Job Overview
We are currently seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and hardworking General Laborer / Forklift Operator to join our client's warehouse team. This is a part-time position, working Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping warehouse operations running efficiently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including operating forklifts and clamp trucks, moving and storing materials, loading and unloading shipments, and assisting with general warehouse operations. Candidates must have a valid forklift license and experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse environment. Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is considered an asset.

Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to move products within the warehouse
- Assist with order picking and inventory management using warehouse management systems
- Perform heavy lifting of goods and materials, ensuring proper handling techniques
- Conduct basic maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Support order fulfillment processes by accurately picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed, ensuring timely delivery schedules
Skills
- Proven experience with warehouse distribution operations and equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control and order processing
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and inventory management
- Good communication skills for teamwork and safety compliance
