The Literacy Centre addresses the literacy and learning needs of children between 4 and 15 years of age. All teachers will have his or her own roster of students to build rapport and make independent progress with.
We are currently looking for qualified teachers to work Monday to Friday from 2:00-8:00 and Saturdays 9:00-2:00, providing remedial instruction in literacy, or math.
As learning requires a child be engaged both emotionally and cognitively, much of our work involves teaching children how to prepare their mindset for learning to occur so naturally there will be an important psychological piece to the teaching environment .

Masters level education in Psychology or Education M.A., MSc., M.Ed
