Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools needed for daily tasks
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision to support various construction activities
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Support carpenters, masons, electricians, and other tradespeople in their specific duties
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal functionality
- Help with site cleanup and waste disposal to keep the work area organized and safe
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices and protocols
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills
- Prior experience in construction or related manual labor fields is a plus but not mandatory
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transporting materials or equipment as needed
- Commitment to working outdoors in various weather conditions
