Purpose of the position
The position will (but not limited to):
- Support aquatic services to deliver quality programs, services and ensure user’s safety and enjoyment.
- Perform duties of lifeguard and instructor.
- Assist with providing quality customer experiences.
- Create fun and educational learning experiences.

To be successful in this position, you will have the following qualifications:
- Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard Certificate

Standard First Aid/CPR Level C/AED Certificate
-
Swim for Life Instructor Certificate
-
Experience working in an aquatic facility setting (swim club, other water sports, etc.
-
Lifesaving Society Advanced Instructor is an asset
-
Experience teaching swimming lessons is an asset
-
Certified Pool Operator is an asset
-
Work well in a team environment
-
Possess excellent customer service skills
- Have strong lifeguarding and instructional skills
- Be well-developed in problem solving, communication skills and public relations skills

Position details

Wage: $23.50 to $33.35 hourly

Casual position - as required basis.

Hours: Ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays), shift work and split shifts as Aquatics requires

Casuals receive an all access pass to the Bold Centre Multiplex and Pool
