In this context, CGI is seeking a leader in the Banking, Investment and Financial Services sectors capable of building strong business relationships with key players in these industries. You have proven experience managing RFPs, delivering complex projects, and selling strategic consulting services, ideally gained within a major consulting firm or a company specializing in financial services.
The title associated with this role is Director, Consulting Services (DCS). You will be responsible for driving growth and delivering consulting services for clients in the Banking, Investment and Financial Services sector. A key part of your mandate will be to increase sales and revenue by developing strategic relationships and identifying high-value opportunities
Roles and Responsibilities
As a DCS, you will be accountable for sales, revenue, delivery, and results for target accounts. You will position CGI as a strategic partner with decision-makers to secure large-scale engagements early in the business and IT project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading RFP responses for projects related to Banking, Investment and Financial Services.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with executives at investment firms, financial institutions, and banks.
- Identifying and closing opportunities in areas such as:
- Investment and Financial Services: modernization of trading and post-trade platforms, risk management, regulatory compliance, front-to-back digital transformation, AI and advanced analytics for asset management.
- Banking Services: core banking modernization, process automation, payment solutions, cybersecurity, and compliance.
- Ensuring service quality and client satisfaction.
- Managing the delivery of complex strategic projects in collaboration with internal teams and partners.
- Meeting revenue and profitability targets.
- Recruiting and developing talent specialized in Banking, Investment and Financial Services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Credibility as a specialist in IT services and business consulting sales within the Banking, Investment and Financial Services sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial products (equities, fixed income, funds, derivatives, structured products) and front-to-back processes, as well as banking operations.
- Ability to lead service offerings, financial proposals, and contracts for multi-faceted projects.
- Knowledge of key trends: market digitalization, automation, regulatory compliance, ESG, AI applied to finance and banking.
- Bilingualism (French and English) required to interact with national and international clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and proposal writing skills.
- Experience in a consulting environment and team leadership.
