Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Foreman to lead and oversee landscape maintenance and construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive horticultural knowledge, and hands-on experience in irrigation, gardening, and landscape construction. As a key team leader, you will ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards while supervising crew members and coordinating daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance and installation projects, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and lawn care
- Oversee irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Lead a team of workers by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure quality work and safety compliance
- Manage project timelines, materials, and equipment to meet deadlines and budget requirements
- Conduct site assessments to develop effective landscape solutions tailored to client needs
- Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and company policies
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution
- Assist with hands-on tasks such as gardening, horticulture practices, and landscape construction when necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or related construction fields
- Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams on outdoor projects
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and horticultural practices
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Construction experience is a plus for overseeing installation activities
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transporting equipment or team members as needed
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when required
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
