3–6 Month Renewable Contract | Hybrid Format Possible
SignNation is looking for a skilled Graphic Designer to support our design and production team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical design ability, a good eye for visual presentation, and experience preparing signage concepts and production-ready files.
The initial contract will run for 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of renewal. A hybrid work format may be considered depending on experience, workflow, and project requirements.
Responsibilities
The Signage Graphic Designer will be responsible for:
- Creating signage concepts, layouts, and presentation drawings
- Preparing client-facing proofs and revision packages
- Developing production-ready artwork and technical files
- Working with project managers, fabricators, and installers to ensure designs are practical and accurate
- Reviewing site photos, measurements, brand standards, and client direction
- Supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment
- Maintaining organized files and clear communication throughout the design process
Requirements
The ideal candidate has:
- Experience designing signage, environmental graphics, retail displays, or architectural graphics
- Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related design software
- Ability to prepare clean, accurate production files
- Understanding of materials, fabrication methods, vinyl, print, dimensional signage, and installation considerations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage revisions and deadlines efficiently
- Good communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
