Operations & Sales Manager

RealityScape VR is live in Sudbury. Now we need the right person to lead it.
We opened at New Sudbury Centre in March and the momentum is real. RealityScape VR brings immersive simulator rides, multiplayer arenas, and private event experiences to Sudbury — and we already have a location in Fredericton doing the same. Guests are coming. The experience is landing. What we need now is a manager who can run a tight operation and actively grow the revenue channels that take us beyond walk-in traffic.
This is not a maintenance role. The foundation is there — your job is to raise the ceiling. If running a great guest experience while hunting down corporate bookings, group events, and birthday parties sounds like your kind of work, keep reading.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Run the operation
- Own the daily operation: open/close, checklists, safety, cleanliness, and holding the standard every shift Deliver a guest experience people talk about — and come back for Lead, schedule, and support a small on-site team Handle VR equipment basics and escalate anything beyond that Keep ownership informed: performance, staffing, problems, wins
Build the sales channel
- Actively sell group and corporate bookings — team events, school groups, sports organizations, community partners Convert every inquiry into a confirmed booking through fast, confident follow-up Get in front of local businesses, work your network, show up where buyers are Track your pipeline and report weekly to ownership on what’s moving Own the birthday party and group booking numbers like they’re yours — because the bonus structure means they are
WHAT YOU CAN EARN
Your base is $23–$25/hr depending on experience. On top of that, monthly performance bonuses you can actually hit:
- Hit $20,000 net revenue for the month
→ $150 bonus
- Hit $23,000 net revenue for the month
→ $250 bonus
- Every birthday or group party you personally sell at the location
→ $15 per booking
The more you grow the location, the more you make. No ambiguity.
WHO YOU ARE
- You’ve led a team in retail, hospitality, entertainment, or a similar customer-facing environment You have a track record of generating leads, building relationships, or closing sales — B2C or B2B You don’t wait to be told what needs doing — you see it and handle it You communicate clearly with guests, staff, and ownership You’re available evenings and weekends — that’s when the business runs You’re comfortable on your feet for long shifts and hands-on with guests VR experience not required. WHY THIS ROLE
You’ll work directly with ownership — no layers, no bureaucracy. You’ll have real influence over how the location performs and grows. The operation is running; your job is to take it further. If you do that well, there’s room to grow with the company.
THE DETAILS
Pay: $23–$25/hr based on experience
Bonuses: Monthly — revenue targets + $15 per party booking personally sold
Hours: ~37.5 hrs/week, full-time, evenings and weekends included
Location: New Sudbury Centre, Sudbury, Ontario — in person
Overtime: Paid per Ontario Employment Standards Act
Note: This is an hourly, non-salaried position. Hours are scheduled based on business needs. This role does not constitute a guaranteed or permanent management appointment.
