Qualifications – Northern Ontario Healthcare Facility
- Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Minimum 3 years of relevant physiotherapy experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 3 month assignment + possibility of extension

Responsibilities:
Physiotherapists are required to adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation programs, exercises, and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and facility protocols
Note: Duties may vary slightly based on facility and shift, with specific guidance provided during site orientation.
Experience:
- 3 years of relevant Canadian healthcare experience required
- Experience working in acute care, rehabilitation, long-term care, or outpatient settings is considered an asset
- Familiarity with Meditech, Epic, or other electronic documentation systems is an asset
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in fast-paced healthcare settings
