Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mixer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mixing raw materials and ingredients to create high-quality products while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, as well as the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively.
Responsibilities
- Operate mixing equipment and machinery to blend ingredients according to specified formulas.
- Assemble and fabricate components as needed for production processes.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for maintenance and adjustments of mixing equipment.
- Perform quality checks on mixed products to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency through Lean manufacturing principles.
- Assist in training new employees on mixing processes and equipment operation.
- Operate forklifts and cranes when necessary for material handling.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience with machining processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing practices is desirable.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, cranes, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
