Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hospitality Manager to join our team.
As a Hospitality Manager, you'll be working alongside a co-manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment and above all, ensure exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for the wine and food and a strong background in hospitality management, we encourage you to apply.
The applicant must be flexible with their availability. Our business operates 364 days a year with on-site and off-site activities. Days, Nights and Holidays are all required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the front of the house (winery tastings, food service and special events/banquets)
- Train and supervise staff members to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service
- Conduct interviews and hire new team members
- Create work schedules and assign tasks to staff members
- Maintain a clean and organized establishment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the wine and food industry, restaurant operations, and hospitality management
- Excellent cash handling skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using hospitality management software or POS systems
