Job Title: Lead Release Train Engineer
Location: Ottawa, ON
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare is non-negotiable.
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Lead Release Train Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments. The ideal candidate will oversee Agile delivery across multiple programs and drive SAFe best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple Agile Release Trains supporting enterprise initiatives.
- Establish SAFe delivery standards, governance, and best practices.
- Support customer, citizen, and patient-centric transformation programs.
- Facilitate PI Planning, ART events, and program execution activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges across programs.
- Support compliance, governance, and risk-management initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity efforts.
- Collaborate with executives, business leaders, and technology teams.
- Ensure alignment between strategic goals and program delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Lead Release Train Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Healthcare environments.
- Experience leading multiple Agile programs and ARTs.
- Strong knowledge of SAFe governance and delivery frameworks.
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance-driven environments.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing large-scale delivery risks and dependencies.
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- SAFe certification preferred.
