What we want
Under the direction of the Manager of Security and Risk Prevention, the primary responsibility of the Security Agent is to establish and maintain a safe and secure site environment while protecting the interests and assets of the organization. An important aspect of the position will be to act as an emergency first responder in a variety of situations including, but not limited to, medical assistance, crisis management and investigations.
What you will do

Patrol all areas of the property, including much of the outdoor space as well as nearby lodges.

Draft incident reports explaining in detail events that occur throughout the day on a regular basis.

Interact with our guests and colleagues in an effort to improve their experience.

Identify, monitor, and proactively act to mitigate risks to safety, security, or the guest and colleague experience.

Manage accidents and assist guests and employees in emergency situations.

Defuse guest disturbances and escort people off the property when necessary.

Conduct investigations, gather evidence and facilitate interviews with involved parties.

Complete required shift reports and maintain confidentiality of all loss prevention documentation.

Be prepared to respond to all emergency situations or accidents simultaneously;

Develop strong relationships throughout the organization, creating a sense of trust and support.

Perform all other related duties.
Profile required

Minimum high school diploma, with a preference for post-secondary education in a related discipline;

Possession of a valid security guard license and first aid card;

Be in good physical health;

Ability to work on your feet for long hours;

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods of time;

Good interpersonal and communication skills;
-
Positive attitude, resourcefulness, calm under pressure.

Security experience (asset);
-
Experience in hospitality and/or customer service (asset);
Salary
According to the salary scale in effect plus benefits related to Nordik Spa Village.
Work schedule
Part Time
Week 1: 2 shifts, Friday and Saturday night shifts.
Week 2: 1 shift (opening or closing), either Saturday or Sunday.
