Bristow Instruments and VI-Scan are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team for a maternity leave coverage position.
This role supports the day-to-day financial operations of two growing aviation companies and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, staying organized, and ensuring every detail is accurate. The successful candidate will primarily focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, while assisting with a variety of accounting and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
· Process a high volume of Accounts Payable invoices accurately and efficiently
· Prepare and issue customer invoices
· Receive and apply customer payments
· Follow up on outstanding invoices and support collections activities
· Maintain organized electronic accounting records and documentation
· Support accounting functions for multiple companies
· Provide administrative support by answering phones and transferring calls

Qualifications
· Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, or an accounting support role
· Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is considered an asset
· Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks Online) is an asset
· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office (SharePoint)
· Experience supporting multiple business entities is considered an asset

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
