About Us:
Adora Bright Pediatric Therapy Services is a multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to empowering children and youth of all abilities. We specialize in providing high-quality intervention services, fostering growth, independence, and skill development in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our team includes Registered Behavior Analysts (RBAs), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), and other dedicated professionals, all working collaboratively to provide holistic care.
To enhance our multidisciplinary approach, we are expanding our services to include Occupational Therapy (OT). Our OT services will focus on improving daily living skills, sensory integration, motor development, and overall functional independence.
Position Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join our dynamic team. As an OT at Adora Bright, you will work closely with RBAs, BCBAs, and SLPs to provide comprehensive, individualized care for our clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in assessing functional, sensory, and developmental needs and developing and implementing targeted treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify functional, sensory, and developmental challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet clients’ specific needs and goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including RBAs, BCBAs, and SLPs, to ensure cohesive and holistic client care.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to families and caregivers to promote skill generalization across environments.
- Document client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in all interactions and treatment practices.
Qualifications:
- Licence in good standing order with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred including children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, and sensory processing challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Dedication to delivering compassionate, client-centered care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
