Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. This role requires a strong commitment to cleanliness, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is highly valued. The Housekeeper/Room Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing exceptional cleaning services and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
Duties
- Clean and service guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all public areas, hallways, and common spaces are tidy and well-maintained
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or special cleaning needs
- Adhere to safety and sanitation policies to ensure a healthy environment for guests and staff
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow proper cleaning procedures using appropriate cleaning products and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of room status and cleaning activities
- Assist with deep cleaning projects or special sanitation tasks as needed
- Launder linens, including folding and putting away
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, industrial cleaning, or hospitality is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and presentation
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus
- Reliable transportation or proximity to the work location is advantageous

Pay: $18.25-$21.00 per hour
