Our DoubleTree Fallsview Resort & Spa hotel is currently seeking Room Attendants!
Working as a Room Attendant, you are responsible for performing routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guestrooms under supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor. Room Attendants promote a positive image of the property to guests and therefore must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and problems.
The successful candidate should maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all housekeeping departmental policies/service and also Hilton's procedures/standards.

As the successful candidate your main responsibilities will be:
- Providing basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing, and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out.
- Reporting and returning any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service.
- Working with a team of housekeepers on each shift.
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and storing all equipment at the end of the shift.
- Ensuring security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
- Anticipating guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Familiarity with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
- Resolving guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Ensuring housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
- Responding timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
- Reporting necessary maintenance items.
- All other duties as assigned.
The qualifications for this position are as follows:
- Previous Cleaning experience is an asset
- Excellent problem solving and customer service skills.
- Commitment to succeed in a team-orientated environment.
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and/or busy times.
