General Description:
As a general labourer, you play a vital role in ensuring that each box packed is loaded properly and has the right number of products. General labourer will fill boxes with finished product on machine lines. Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into boxes. Keep work area clean. Check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Follow plant safety procedures and GMPs.
· Food safety/handling skills
· Make boxes for packaging.
· Fill boxes with finished product on machine lines.
· Remove filled containers from conveyors and manually pack goods into boxes.
· Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
· Check products and packaging for basic quality defects.
· Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
Qualifications and Requirements
· High School diploma or certificate may be required.
· No experience needed, will train applicant on job and GMPs.
· Must be fit to do labour work.
· Must be able to stand for long periods.
· Heavy lifting may be required.
Schedule:
5 days per week (Weekends included)
7am-5pm
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $17.60 per hour
