Under the general supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator provides services on a variety of projects related to the construction of water and wastewater treatment plants. This project is located in Calgary, hours are Monday to Friday with no weekend or on-call work.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assists in planning, scheduling and executing construction activities including supervision of crews and equipment
- Prepares work schedules
- Prepares work packages
- Prepares correspondence with the owner and consultants for Superintendents signature
- Maintain plans, specifications, cost and material estimates, subcontracts report and ensures latest issues are distributed as required
- Coordinates procurement of construction materials, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of projects orders
- Ensures project cost requirements and coding procedures are followed
- Provides technical assistance to Superintendents
- Creates reports on productivity, work completed and material yields
- Expedites progress payment certificates, final payment and all extra work orders as per contract
- Maintains job dairies, site photos and proper claims documentation
- Processes material packing slips verifying quantities and receipt of materials
- Update production schedule
- Other duties assigned by his/her supervisor
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-2 years experience
- Mechanical knowledge
- Strong computer skills, using MS Office, Bluebeam, Procore
- Advanced skill in MS Excel
- Experience in Autodesk suite of products an asset
- Experience in construction
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Strong English
- Self driven individual
- Detail orientated

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
