Job Overview:
As a Package/Mail Screener at our trucking company, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Responsibilities:
Inspect all incoming and outgoing packages, parcels, and mail using designated tools, such as X-ray scanners, metal detectors, or other screening equipment.
Visually inspect packages for any irregularities, damages, or signs of tampering.
Ensure that all packages are cleared and processed in a timely and safe manner.
Maintain accurate records of all screened packages, including details of any flagged or suspicious items.
Sort and distribute mail and packages to the appropriate departments or recipients after successful screening.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain vigilant in identifying potential threats or suspicious items.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
