Overview of Position:
As a Yard Worker you will help serve customers in the warehouse and lumberyard, puts away incoming product, and helps maintain a clean and organized warehouse/lumberyard.
As a Delivery Assistant you will assist the Delivery Driver in delivering products to our customer's jobsites. Assist in loading the trucks, inspecting the loads, and securing them safely. The Delivery Assistant takes products into customer`s homes and jobsites and also helps with truck inspections and other tasks assigned by the driver.

- Provide efficient, pleasant and safe customer service in our warehouse and lumberyard
- Maintain inventory in lumberyard and protect from weather
- Restock building materials and other products
- Load building materials and other products into vehicles
- Keep lumberyard and warehouse neat and clean
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Good communication skills, written and spoken
- Scheduling flexibility
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous warehouse experience is considered an asset
Physical Demands
- Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Able to bend, twist, & reach
- Able to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, sun, rain, & snow)
Schedule
- Working one full weekend every 2 weeks
- Weekday shifts and Saturdays are 7:20AM to 4PM or 9:30AM to 6 PM.
- Sunday 9:45 to 5
