We are seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy across various platforms to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
Job Responsibilities
- Proficiency in graphic design tools including Adobe Illustrator/Creative Suite, Canva or equilivant software/tools
- Create engaging video content through for social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn. Experience with Capcut or similar software will be a strong asset
- Experience with social media management tools such as Later Social
- Monitor social media trends, research audience preferences, and stay updated on industry trends
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create cohesive campaigns that align with the overall marketing goals
- Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers
- Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to optimize performance
- Stay up-to-date with changes in social platforms' algorithms and best practices
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar roles
- Strong research skills to understand target audiences and industry trends
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics including SEO, email marketing, and content marketing
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality content
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like Shopify and Amazon is a plus
- Nice to have administrative background and/or experience as complementary
- Chinese/Mandarin will be a strong asset
