ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM
The Supplier Quality Management Specialist supports the implementation of the supplier quality strategy and ensures operational execution of supplier quality processes. The role focuses on monitoring supplier performance, resolving quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement activities in alignment with the Supplier Quality Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Support supplier qualification, onboarding, and periodic re-evaluation activities.

Monitor supplier quality performance using defined KPIs and report deviations.

Prepare and conduct supplier audits and assessments under guidance of the Supplier Quality Manager.

Manage supplier-related non-conformances including containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Apply and document quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and CAPA.

Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve operational quality issues.

Support new product introductions (NPI) by coordinating supplier readiness activities.

Maintain supplier quality documentation, records, and reporting.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base.
Qualifications:
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

3 + years experience in developing quality control in a manufacturing environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

Initial to several years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality engineering.

Basic to solid knowledge of quality standards and management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, 16949, ISO 14000 etc.).

Practical experience with common quality tools and structured problem-solving methods.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Willingness to travel
