Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Injection Molding Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various production equipment, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This hands-on role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to accurately read and understand mix formulas and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment: weigh scales, mixing equipment, overhead crane, forklifts, drill press, knives
- Ensure quality control throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Weigh products, mix, and pour urethane into molds
- Operate weigh scales, mixing equipment, overhead crane, forklifts, drill press, knives
- Utilize hand tools and calipers for precise measurements and adjustments.
- Read and interpret Cad drawings to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Package finished products according to company standards for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including operating forklifts for material handling.
- Assist in assembly work, injection molding operator, and CNC operator work when required.
This is not a supervisory position; the work will be performed personally by the injection molding operator. We are not looking for supervisors or warehouse personnel unless they have hands-on skills with injuection molding and are willing to perform the work themselves.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and the ability to perform inspections.
- Ability to read CAD files and technical drawings accurately.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required; training may be provided.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, Math skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials as needed and stand for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
