Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive Islamic Studies lessons tailored to various age groups and learning levels
- Incorporate interactive activities, discussions, and multimedia resources to enhance student engagement
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments, quizzes, and class participation
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Islamic education with other curricula and school activities
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral observations
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and classroom updates
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those requiring special education support
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in teaching Islamic Studies or related subjects is highly preferred
- Experience working with children across different age groups enhances your ability to connect and motivate students
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles helps in designing age-appropriate lessons for young learners
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques and classroom management strategies ensures a positive learning environment
- Strong communication skills are essential for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and liaising with parents
- Experience in teaching subjects like Math or other core curricula can support integrated lesson planning
